Originally published in 1958, by the Theosophical Research Centre, this book Answers questions about how Unorthodox Healing is diagnosed psychically, the specific techniques that work and the possibilities for exceptional cures.

PSYCHIC DIAGNOSIS

In Ancient times, priests and priestesses were trained to diagnose and treat disease, using psychic diagnosis, medical remedies and their “special gifts, training and tradition.”

Fast forward to current times, where Clairvoyants and Psychometrists use their supernormal Energies of Seeing and Touching, to analyze the dysfunctions in a patient’s body. Often these skills work to reduce or eliminate pain – short or longterm, and/or to pinpoint the source of a disease or illness. This type of healing includes other healing forms, such as Reiki.

EDGAR CAYCE

The great Edgar Cayce, while in trance, was able to diagnose the cause of a patient’s distress, and even consult with MDs who called upon him for help with their cases. While not mentioned in this book, Cayce’s many accurate diagnoses have been compiled and recorded for research. They also are the subject of many books by and about him and his mysterious psychic gift.

ENERGY COLORS IN HEALING

As a sometimes-when-needed Healer, I let the energies felt in my hands travel to the source of body pain or stress and unease. I visualize colors and heat or cold at the source, and remain there until I feel an energy depletion. This method has helped relieve migraine pain, extreme stress, and even severe pain caused by accidents or trauma.

Nowhere in this book is medical diagnosis or a doctor’s treatment criticized, but rather, Natural healing, is seen as a helpful partner to orthodox medical treatment. The book’s conclusion emphasizes, however, the presence of “interior sources of healing that exist deep within each individual.”
