This 1993 book, PSYCHIC ROOTS, is full of surprises and examples of psychic happenings to people exploring their (or someone else’s) roots.

Author Henry Z. Jones, Jr. invited more than 100 genealogists, from around the world, to share their “psychic” experiences while searching for information about their family trees. These experiences included Intuition, Hunches and “Serendipities” that helped them fill in the blanks of their rigorous research or even solve some long-ago family secrets.

A DIFFERENT KIND OF GRAVE DIGGERS

Jones, a former well-known character actor, later became a genealogist. His 236-page book includes the real names of people and their examples of “psychic guidance” received during research. The examples include being led to gravestones and guided to just the right pages in archived books; meeting up by accident with people researching the same names; revealing dreams, and even hearing accurate information from an unknown voice.
